| Folks drive from downtown Savannah to the Pig even for lunch; we and lots of others believe this is the best specialist in BBQ in or near Savannah, though there are a few close seconds and lots of opinions about that as with BBQ everywhere. We always feel right at home at this little family business started by Mark Bryan. We love what they do and wish they would go back to the great onion rings and home-made ice cream made by Mark. Stop here on your way to Hilton Head or Beaufort, SC and then again on your way back....or just enjoy the easy drive over from Savannah using the high Talmadge Bridge that overlooks the river and the Port of Savannah. |
